Nahemah - A New Constellation (2009)

This is an incredibly fresh release, that came totally out of the blue to me. Never heard of this band before this album, though I listened to their older stuff before I tried this one out. Was not impressed until this album. The amazing mix of styles these guys incorporate into their music is as vast at the atmosphere it creates. Progressive, Black, Death, Post-Rock forms of metal, and even Jazz and Funk can be found here! And they use so incredibly well that is gives the overall sound of the album a classy sophisticated vibe. Though do not let the first songs jazzy funk vibe draw you away from what this album truly is, a metal album! Insanely beautiful riffs, crushing bass and dark vocals make this an epic of the year.
